Beti Bachao Beti Padhao:
Rally for a Cause Students of classes IV, V and VII participated in an awareness rally based on the ‘ Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ mission, on 17th August, 2018 at 10:30 am, commencing at Gandhibagh area, Nagpur. Its main objective was to create awareness among the people about the importance of girl child and to sensitize communities across the city. The bigger objective was to discourage them against the female foeticide, a cancer for the society. The rally travelled through the neighbourhood colonies. The students participating in the rally held aloft banners and placards which displayed the message of the mission. These banners and placards were carrying messages like - BetiBachao - BetiPadhao, Save Girl Child - Educate Girl Child, Girls are the pride of the country, If Girls survive, the earth will survive and so on. The girls were dressed in the costumes of various famous woman personalities like Kalpana Chawla, Sakshi Malik, PT Usha, Indira Gandhi,etc. All the passer by appreciated and applauded the students in the rally.
