STORY TELLING SESSION - NURSERY
They would look around questioning their environment, fiddle with their thumbs, cry unconditionally and run rampage around the classroom. Such is the plight of a teacher when she sits amongst a class of students starting their educational journey. Come what may, the smile never wavers, the dedication never fades, the commitment never deters, the affection never ends. Such is the attitude of a teacher when she sits amongst a class of students ready to shriek, wail and bawl at the drop of a hat. Imagine this multiplied exponentially, due to the barriers constructed by this pandemic, where the teacher is devoid of any physical contact with these angels, to hold them, plead them to sit and listen to what they teach. Their strife is unimaginable, but their ability to adapt and impart knowledge is remarkable. Such a spectacle was witnessed in MSB Kolkata when the tiny tots of Nursery were transfixed by the immaculate storytelling of our teacher. They were glued to the screen, enthralled by the puppets, hypnotised by the magic of their teacher’s words. Their mesmerisation led to the amazement of their parents, who heartily expressed their appreciation by conveying their positive feedbacks in the form of voice notes and messages. Their acknowledgement of her efforts is the biggest reward a teacher can ask for.
